OatsheafLand

Our Heritage

Commitment to crafting the most authentic Italian pizza with dedication since 1985

Our

From the Heart of Naples to Your Local Community

'OatsheafLand' started with an aspiring vision: to introduce genuine Neapolitan pizza to London. Originated by the Moretti relatives in 1985, our pizza shop began as a quaint, family-owned business, with recipes passed down the family line.

'Luca Moretti', our progenitor, honed her pizza crafting skills during her sojourn across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—where pizza first originated. Once she came back to the UK, her aim was to replicate the essence of Italian pizza, by adhering to age-old practices and selecting only premium ingredients.

What started as a humble pizza parlour with just 12-seats, has now flourished into a cherished establishment, while our allegiance to quality and genuine craftsmanship remains steadfast. We still employ the original wood-fire oven baking, our dough is prepared fresh each day, and we seek out the most exceptional ingredients available.

To this day, 'OatsheafLand' is still in the hands of our family, with the Moretti lineage’s second generation at the helm of a passionate team. While we've adopted certain contemporary improvements, our business's core ethos endures: making delicious, real pizza that unites people.

The closest I've come to genuine Neapolitan pizza without being in Italy. The crust has just the right amount of chewiness, adorned with those distinctive char spots only possible from a wood-fired oven.
